We are trying with the help of Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, to clear out some of the attacks made by western writers, orientalists, missionaries and others who are creating a false image of Islam in order to hinder men from the path of guidance.
Our aim is to correct some of the misinformation about Islam, which has been formed by ascribing false claims and lies to Islam through different ways of education and mass media. Furthermore our purpose is to present the reality of Islam, which is commanding all kinds of noble morals and righteousness, and forbidding all kinds of evil manners and wrong. Allah, the Exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): "Verily, Allah enjoins al-'adl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allah Alone – Islamic Monotheism) and al-ihsaan [i.e. to be patient in performing your duties to Allah, totally for Allah's sake and in accordance with the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet (SAAS) in a perfect manner], and giving (help) to kith and kin (i.e. all that Allah has ordered you to give them, e.g. wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any other kind of help), and forbids al-fahshaa‘ (i.e. all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right), and al-munkar (i.e. all that is prohibited by Islamic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds), and al-baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression). He admonishes you, that you may take heed." (Al-Qur‘aan 16:90)
On the authority of 'Iyad (RAA) who reported that Allah's Messenger (SAAS) said: "Verily, Allah has revealed to me that you should adopt humility. So that no one may wrong another and no one may be disdainful and haughty towards another." (Muslim)
Moreover, we would like to remind our brothers and sisters in Islam that the only way to the honour and victory is to adhere truly to Islam by seeking the authentic Islamic knowledge, acting according to it, preaching it, and enduring with patience whatever such application and preaching may entail. Allah, the Exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): "By al-'asr (the time). Verily, man is in loss, except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth [i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (al-ma'roof) which Allah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (al-munkar) which Allah has forbidden], and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allah's Cause during preaching His religion of Islamic Monotheism)." (Al-Qur‘aan 103)
Allah, the Exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): "…Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) enjoin iqaamat-us-salaah [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational prayers], to pay the zakaah (poor due) and they enjoin al-ma'roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid al-munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islam has forbidden) [i.e. they make the Qur‘aan as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allah rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures)." (Al-Qur‘aan 22:40-41)
Allah, the Exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): "Say: 'Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (SAAS), but if you turn away, he [Messenger Muhammad (SAAS)] is only responsible for the duty placed on him (i.e. to convey Allah's Message) and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way).' Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the faasiquun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). And perform as-salaah (the five compulsory prayers), and give zakaah (poor due) and obey the Messenger [Muhammad (SAAS)] that you may receive mercy (from Allah). Consider not that the disbelievers can escape in the land. Their abode shall be the Fire and worst indeed is that destination." (Al-Qur‘aan 24:54-57)
We present the religion of Islam ['aqeedah (creed), manhaj (methodology), and 'ibaadah (worship)] according to the Qur‘aan and the Sunnah upon the understanding of as-Salaf-us-Saalih (the Righteous Predecessors) both to Muslims and non-Muslims.
Imam Malik ibn Anas rahimahullaah (d. 179 A.H.) said: "The affaires of the latter part of this ummah will not be corrected except by that which corrected its first part."
We try also to warn Muslims against innovator wolves and their innovations, which cause the Sunnah of our Messenger Muhammad (SAAS) to become forgotten and not practiced. Abu Huraira (RAA) narrated that Allah's Messenger (SAAS) said: "In the last times men will come forth who will fraudulently use religion for worldly ends and wear sheepskins in public to display meekness. Their tongues will be sweeter than sugar, but their hearts will be the hearts of wolves. Allah will say: 'Are they trying to deceive Me, or are they acting presumptuously towards Me? I swear by Myself that I shall send trial upon those people which will leave the intelligent man among them confounded.'" (Mishkaat-ul-Masaabiih, transmitted by at-Tirmidhi)
In our work we try to collect ideas and sometimes paragraphs from different authentic Islamic sources and various encyclopaedias. After collecting information, we try to combine them together, and while doing this we use sometimes our own expressions and examples in order to draw up a complete subject. And at the end of the articles we mention the references (books) that we relied on.
